Great New Year’s Resolution Posts that I Did Not Write

As I mentioned in my post earlier today, I didn’t feel the need to write my own New Year’s Resolutions post as many others had already done such a superb job doing so. Below are three resolution posts from bloggers I follow. Enjoy! And please feel free to share if you wrote your own post or read others that you find inspiring. (I only put 3 so as not to overload you).

  • Fannetastic Food: How to Make a Successful New Year’s Resolution
Theme? Turning broad resolutions into specific actions.
Quote: Again, setting a daily or weekly action will help to make the overall end goal more reachable, because you have something specific and measurable to focus on. The original resolution will end up being a side effect of your long term behavior change.
  • Run Away With Me: How to Make 2014 the Best Year Ever
Theme? Tips on how to stick to your New Year’s resolutions
Quote: Chances are, lots of other people have reached the same goal you’re going for and can offer advice and tips to help you reach that goal too.  But ultimately you need to find a way to make the goal manageable for you.  If the only way to motivate yourself to participate in a run streak is by buying cute new running clothes (trust me, you’ll need some extra clothes) then do that, even if someone else thinks it’s a little weird.
  • Fit Girl’s Martini: Set INTENTIONS, not a RESOLUTION
Theme? Set small goals for each day and try to carry them with you, rather than setting one broad goal for 2014, stressing about it, and then forgetting about it.
Quote: January first is the start of a new journey for you, and the best part is that you have 364 days to do it all again.
